Dr. Mandeep Vermani
Dr. Vermani has been exclusively treating Orofacial Pain Disorders in the Valley since 2006. She obtained her DDS degree from the UCLA School of Dentistry, where she graduated cum laude and was elected into the OKU National Dental Honor Society. She completed her Orofacial Pain Residency in 2006 at the UCLA School of Dentistry Orofacial Pain Program, which is the premier Orofacial Pain Program in the country. The program equipped her with the knowledge to treat and manage Temporomandibular Disorders, Chronic Orofacial Pain, Headache, Orofacial Movement Disorders, Orofacial Neuralgias and Neuropathies which include Intraoral Non-Odontogenic Pain, and Sleep Apnea with oral appliances. She has had the opportunity to learn from some of the most knowledgeable dentists in this field, and received a well-rounded foundation as a result of training with Neurologists, Psychologists, and Pain Medicine Physicians. Having previously practiced general dentistry for a number of years, she also has a good understanding of Odontogenic Pain.
Dr. Vermani is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orofacial Pain and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orofacial Pain, as well as a lecturer and clinical instructor in the UCLA School of Dentistry Orofacial Pain Program. She also regularly lectures on the various topics of Orofacial Pain throughout the Valley, and has had the opportunity to speak internationally to raise awareness about the subject. In addition, she is a member of the American Academy of Pain Management, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, and the American Headache Society.
Dr. Vermani started her own practice, Arizona TMJ & Pain Center, in late 2011, after practicing in the valley for 5 years in a group practice. Over the years, she has worked hard to help many patients attain a better quality of life. She is very passionate about delivering quality care to her patients while utilizing a conservative treatment approach.
